Time: 10:00 am Or time of your choice
Location: Home
Registration: https://p2p.onecause.com/hoperun
What is a Virtual Walk? This year, we will we be walking on our own rather than together to ensure everyone’s safety. We encourage people to call or video call their family, friends, and/or team while they walk to make this as fun as possible. You can use the apps Map my Walk or Map my Run to track your Kilometers if you choose. You will then share your progress, photos, and cheer each other on through Facebook or Instagram using the #HoperunHD.

Fundraising is more important than ever during this difficult time as the Huntington Society of Canada relies heavily on events just like this one to do the amazing work they do. We want to ensure they are able to continue to support our community through oversight and facilitation of excellent support services, providing access to the best and most up-to-date educational resources, increasing national and global awareness, advocacy and investing in promising research.

To make this event possible we have had to make some changes to registration. We will have T-Shirts available for pick up locally (MacKenzie Lake Calgary) or if you are unable to coordinate pick up you have the option to get a tax receipt instead and wear a shirt from a previous year. We will continue to have fundraising incentives to encourage people to fund raise as much as possible!! Early Bird pricing will be available for the entirety of this event!!

The Huntington Society of Canada takes the safety of our staff, volunteers and community members very seriously. We believe, above all else, that organizations and events must play a role in reducing the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Let’s work together and make this event a success!! We cannot do it without you!!
